SECTION 2 - STORE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Southern Air Systems Ltd's store is subject to the following terms and conditions
2a· Images of products listed on our website are for guidance and illustration purposes only. Goods may vary from the item specification described and the picture of the tool. Overlay Illustrations may include - Pressure ratings, kW Ratings, or watermarks.
2b· Stock levels are an indication only and can change without notice. They refer to the product being available to order but may be subject to production or other lead times; including after an order has been placed.
2c· We primarily deliver to the UK. (Subject to the discretion of sales team)
2d· Payments are required in full before any goods are shipped to the customer. Orders may be delayed depending on the time it takes for the payments to be received. Goods coming directly from the manufacture are also subject to administration delays outside of our control.
2e· Prices are subject to change at any time, the customer will be informed of any price changes on enquiry, or after an order has been placed. This includes price increases, additional fees or delivery charges as well as price errors.
2f· Southern Air Systems Ltd hold the right to refuse or cancel the sale of any goods listed or unlisted from our website at any time. Orders that are rejected will be refunded but may be subject to fees depending on the reason for cancellation. A sales representative will contact you to discuss this further.
Refunds and Faulty Goods
2g· When you sign for any goods, you become fully responsible for the items. This includes goods being sent back for returns, forwarded on, or damaged goods. Southern Air Systems Ltd passes all responsibility to the customer on proof of delivery.
2h· If the goods you are having delivered are in damaged packaging, you must either refuse to accept the goods or sign for the goods with the words “received damaged”. We cannot accept responsibility for goods that have been damaged in transit if you sign for them as being in good order.
2i· Please ensure that you check your goods within 3 days of delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for damaged or short goods if we are not notified in writing within 3 days of delivery. Please note that we require photographic proof of any damages.
2j· We will accept returns where the goods are not wanted for whatever reason provided we are notified in writing within 7 days of delivery. The goods must be in a perfect, resaleable condition. You must arrange the return of the items at your own expense and a restocking fee will apply.
2k· Delivery charges you paid for are non-refundable and can be deducted from your refund.
2l· Goods returned outside of your consumer rights ( are subject to approval and may also be subject to delivery and handling fees. Please refer to our sales representatives for more guidance.
Installation and commissioning of air compressors
2m· Prices on our website are subject to additional charges for installation and commissioning. Due to the varying nature of each install, this will be discussed with the customer at the time of order; we will guide you on the required power supply ratings, any additional pipe systems required, or other ancillary equipement.
2n· An engineer will be required to install and commission your compressor in order to validate its warranty. It is important that we carry this work out to ensure no damage is caused to your machine when you operate it. If we cannot commission your compressor and you choose to install this yourself, we will advise on the best course to take, but this may invalidate your warranty. If we are unable to commission the compressor because you are outside of our working area, we will advise the best most local authorized distributor that can do this for you. This may incur additional fees outside of our control.
2o· Prices on our website do not include the installation of any pipework or pipe systems. These would require a detailed schematic of your installation and bill of materials. This can be provided by us for you with a site visit from our sales team. This is subject to our availability and your location. Typically this is offered FOC but we may charge for visits outside of our normal working area. You will be made aware of this before our site visit.
