Air Compressor Filtration
The removal of oil and condensate within the compressed air system is vital clean dry compressed air stops damage and corrosion that’s why we provide a wide range of filtration products.
Southern Air Systems are approved distributors for Zander Hiross one of the world’s leaders in compressed air filtration.
Our sales/service engineers are fully trained and familiar with all makes and models of refrigerant dryers, in-line filters elements, condensate drains and oil/water separator units.
Providing our customers with dry, oil free compressed air, with out these ancillary devices installed onto the air system pneumatic cylinders air tools and product finishing can be damaged.
The maintenance of compressed air dryers is carried out as part of the air compressor service schedule. In-line filter elements and oil/water separator carbon bags can also be replaced normally during the routine service if they are due which will eliminate any extra labour cost.
Removing oil and condensate from the air system is one problem but the removal of this waste product is another, especially when it is brought to a customer’s attention that a penalty of a large fine can be due, in the event of incorrect disposal of compressed air waste, there are ways to dispose of this safely.
One way is collection of waste in large drums and paying a waste removal company to take it away, this can be costly on a regular basis and take up storage space.
Another way is to have an oil/water separator installed on to the condensate line. This device stores the compressed air waste and both skims off the oil and purifies the condensate by use of an activated carbon bag allowing the water to enter a drain and the oil can be removed by our engineers.
So for a one off installation payment and an annual carbon bag replacement, compressed air waste worries no longer belong to our customers.
